I’m just gonna go out with it: I’ve got a fan crush on indie acting icon Zooey Deschanel. You probably would’ve seen her deadpan acting in The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy or Almost Famous. But she has now dipped herself into the indie music world by hooking up with M.Ward to form She & Him, and partnering with an indieworld star producer is a sure fire way of getting blog fame. Their debut album Volume One was released recently and it is full of old school sentimental songs. She isn’t the greatest singer in the world but who cares she’s enjoying herself.
